2010 Physician Fee Schedules
Medicare Physician Fee Schedules
Instructions for Downloading:
The fee schedules have been placed in two different file types. There is a PDF version for easy viewing/printing, while in the other column, the files have been placed in a .zip file. Within the zip file, the fees have been placed in an Excel and PDF format for use.
To access the Excel files, you need software that can open .zip files. If you do not currently have unzip software, please talk to your Systems department for recommendations.
Correction to the Fees Effective January 1, 2010 - May 31, 2010:
On April 15, 2010, President Obama signed into law the "Continuing Extension Act of 2010." This law extends through May 31, 2010, the zero percent update to the MPFS that was in effect for claims with dates of service January 1, 2010, through March 31, 2010. In addition, the 2010 Work GPCIs, the MPFSDB Conversion Factor, numerous Work RVUs and the 2010 Anesthesia Conversion Factors have been changed to incorporate current legislation.
New Fee Schedule files were issued to correct the Outpatient Prospective Payment System Caps for Positron Emission Tomography and Bone Density Scan Codes.
The fees posted below reflect the zero percent update, all other legislative changes and the correction to the Pet and Bone density codes.

Fees Effective June 1, 2010 - November 30, 2010:
On June 25, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Preservation of Access to Care for Medicare Beneficiaries and Pension Relief Act of 2010. This legislation provides for a 2.2 percent update to the 2010 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS), effective for dates of service June 1, 2010, through November 30, 2010. The Fee Schedules below reflect the 2.2% update.
