2005 Participation Information and Fees Available - ALERT: Fees on CD are Correct!

Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) is pleased to again distribute the 2005 Fee Schedules and Disclosure information via CD-ROM this year. One CD-ROM was sent to each group billing address. Please be aware that the fees included on the 2005 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule and Disclosure Report CD-ROM are incorrect. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) corrected some of the RVUs, however we were unable to include the correct fees on the CD-ROM in time. Our Web site contains the correct fees, which you can access on our Pricing and Fees page by
clicking here.
The 2005 CD-ROM will also be available on our Web site, and this online version will include the correct fees. If you would like, you can download the CD-ROM, and save the files to a new CD, your database, your hard drive, or your shared drive. The revised CD-ROM will be by
clicking here.
Please note there are approximately 200 educational documents on the CD-ROM that are of great value to all providers. When you receive the CD-ROM (look for a red, white, and blue square 5" x 5" CD-sized box envelope in your mail labeled "OPEN IMMEDIATELY: Package contains 2005 Medicare Payment Information from CMS"), make sure you access these helpful and valuable educational documents, such as:

Important Reminders
- If you do not have a CD drive or a personal computer, please contact Customer Service at the above numbers.
- NO educational information from the CD-ROM will be available in hardcopy format.
- Providers will need to make requests for additional hard copy fee schedules through Freedom of Information (FOI) by filling out and sending or faxing the following form to the address for your state. Click here for the FOI Request Form.
