Direct Data Entry (DDE) Changes Effective Jan 2, 2007
Per CR5243, effective Jan 2, 2007 DDE users with a NPI number that matches up to multiple Oscar numbers will be required to submit a Taxonomy code on claims when they enter an NPI number without a Oscar number.
Effective Jan 2, 2007, all DDE users will be required to submit the Facility Zip code on all claims entered.
DDE users will see on claim page 01 the new fields labeled “TAXO.CD & FAC ZIP”. These new fields have been added to claims entry, claims update, & roster billing screens.
