Iowa Part A Provider Reason Code Crosswalks
WPS Medicare has completed the requirement to create a new consolidated Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) Reason Code File for Jurisdiction 5 Part A claims processing. This new Reason Code file will be implemented effective May 1, 2008, which will immediately impact Part A providers previously served by Cahaba that will now be served by WPS.

The first link will provide you a list of Reason Codes in ascending order by reason code. The second link will provide you a list of reason codes grouped by status location. The third link will provide you a list of WPS Medical Review edits. The fourth link will provide you a list of WPS technical edits. The fifth link will provide any group code changes.
