Mental Health Claims Hold
Claims submitted before July 19, 2008, with dates of service after July 1, 2008, and with mental health procedure codes 90804 - 90829, were released and processed before the fees were received from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). WPS Medicare paid the claims without the 0.5% increase and will adjust them during the second and third week of August 2008.
