Linked below are system-related claims processing/payment issues that have been reported to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and to the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) maintainer for research and correction. Weekly meetings are held with CMS and the FISS maintainer and updates will be made as changes occur.

Note: No provider action is required for claims receiving the following edits except as indicated below. A provider may request accelerated payments where delays in payments by a fiscal intermediary for covered services rendered to Medicare beneficiaries have caused financial hardship for the provider.
