A request for redetermination must be filed with the contractor that has claims processing jurisdiction over the service in question. WPS Medicare Part B continues to receive misdirected request for appeals, this may cause a delay in your response. Please verify who the contractor was that processed the claim and file the appeal request with that contractor.

Stay on Top of Medicare Changes with WPS Medicare eNews

WPS Medicare sends out a weekly eNews on the first business day of every week. The weekly eNews includes the most current and vital information Medicare providers need to know, such as current news from CMS and WPS Medicare, policy updates, and information about upcoming changes. A second eNews is sent on Wednesday with announcements about educational opportunities. Additional eNews messages will be sent when we have time-sensitive or urgent information to share with the provider community. We encourage all individuals at a provider's office to subscribe.
