C-SNAP Enhancement – Overpayment Notification

C-SNAP Enhancement – Overpayment Notification

As a result of suggestions from our Part B provider community, we are pleased to announce that WPS Medicare will soon implement an enhancement in the CMS Secure Net Access Portal (C-SNAP) that will streamline the overpayment request process for Part B providers. This will allow Part B providers to submit certain claim adjustments via C-SNAP, systematically creating the corresponding Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) and non-MSP overpayments. This enhancement is expected to eliminate the need to complete and submit hardcopy forms to our office for certain types of claim adjustments. We hope to have this enhancement up and running this summer; please stay tuned for further details.
