Home Beneficiary Part A Information about No-Pay MSNs

In an effort to reduce operating costs, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has instructed Mutual of Omaha-Medicare to change their current mailing schedule of No-Pay MSNs from a monthly (30 day) to a quarterly (90 day) schedule.  No-Pay MSNs are MSNs produced for beneficiaries where Medicare did not issue a payment to the beneficiary.  This change is effective September 1, 2006.

If a No-Pay MSN is lost, a duplicate can be requested by calling 1-800-Medicare.  The duplicate No-Pay MSN will be generated and mailed once the request is made.
