People with Medicare
Welcome to the Beneficiary section of the WPS Medicare website.
Medicare is a federally funded health insurance program for people 65 years of age and older, certain disabled people, and people with end-stage renal disease (permanent kidney failure). Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) Medicare was chosen by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to administer the Medicare program in the states of Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Nebraska. We also administer Medicare Part A services in several other states.
For the complete information about the Medicare program, visit the Official U.S. Government Site for People with Medicare, which is found at Medicare.gov. There you will find helpful information about covered services, participating providers, prescription drugs, claim billing, and appeals. You will also find official Medicare publications and personalized Medicare information.
