January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month!
Nearly 3 million Americans have glaucoma, the second leading cause of blindness in the world. Please join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in promoting increased awareness of glaucoma and the glaucoma screening benefit provided by Medicare. More information about glaucoma is available on the Prevent Blindness America website.
American Medical Association (AMA) Agreement
The WPS Medicare website includes Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, which are the property of the AMA. Because of this, an AMA license agreement will pop up when you select your contract (J5A, J5B, J8A, or J8B) below. All WPS Medicare website visitors must accept the agreement in order to view any contract-specific web pages.
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) releases updates, including recent enforcement actions, reports, and other news in monthly podcasts. To access monthly updates, including podcasts and their transcripts, visit the OIG Monthly Update Podcasts web page.
